An elegant specimen that combines a virtually untoned reverse with an obverse dressed in a target-like distribution of deep rose, russet, and reddish-orange iridescence. Silky smooth in appearance with a nicely cameoed finish, even the most discerning numismatist will find much to admire in this condition rarity Proof 1894 dime. Tied for finest certified and stickered in the CAM category at PCGS and CAC.<p>This year is the first for which the Philadelphia Mint employed only a single die pair in the production of Proof Barber dimes.
