1805 Draped Bust Quarter. B-3. Rarity-2. VF-30 (PCGS). Plenty of bold striking detail remains to allow full appreciation of this classic U.S. Mint design. A tiny planchet void at the letter I in LIBERTY is as made and easily overlooked, although accuracy does compel us to mention a generally glossy texture to silver-gray and pale pink surfaces. The Draped Bust quarter as a type is among the scarcer and more underrated in U.S. numismatics, and this Heraldic Eagle example would fit nicely into many collections.
