Lot Description

1897 Barber Quarter. Proof-65 (NGC). An attractively toned Gem dusted with champagne-gold, silver-apricot and pinkish-lilac iridescence over well-mirrored fields. There is enough field-to-device contrast to suggest a cameo finish, at least on the obverse. A pretty specimen with full originality to both sides.
