Attractive lustrous bluish steel brown with 20% of the mint color remaining. A small stain of darker olive toning in the dentils over star 6 and a speck of darker toning at the dentils under the stem tip are the only defects. Rare LDS, die state g</B>, with a series of 5 rim cud breaks at D-STATES to over the left top of the O in OF. The only voids in this series are at D-S and a smaller one over the right top of the second T in STATES. All the cud breaks are strong with clear margins. Tied for CC#5 overall but equal to finest known of a couple dozen known in die state g. Plated in the 2001 edition of the Grellman book to illustrate the die state.
