1851/81 Braided Hair Cent. N-3. Rarity-1. Grellman Die State B. MS-65+ BN (NGC). Glossy steel-brown surfaces reveal blushes of pale-pink and lilac-blue iridescence as the coin dips into a light. This is a later die state of the variety, but the central devices remain sharp, and the underdigits are discernible, if only with patience. A very popular die marriage in the Braided Hair Cent series at a high level of preservation.
