1740-BB Half Sou Marque. Strasbourg Mint. Vlack-325. Rarity-1. AU-58 (PCGS). 15.4 grains. The strike is off center to upper right obverse, lower right reverse, but all peripheral devices are present, and overall detail is impressively sharp. Fully silvered with minimal toning in pale olive to otherwise bright pearl-gray surfaces. About as nice as half sou marques come, especially in AU grades. Provenance: From the Sydney F.
