Lot Description

A very tough TOP 100 variety. Both sides show off a brilliant untoned silver luster that flashes with strong reflection on both sides. The devices on both sides are exceptionally well struck. They are frosted and white and contrast nicely against the surrounding mirrored fields. The eye appeal is bold. PCGS 15, NGC 7, CAC 10. The only two CAC coins to sell in auction realized $4,935 and $4,234 (both were PCGS-graded). The most recent NGC-graded coin sold in April 2016 for $3,525. VERY RARE finer. There is only one NGC coin finer in the PL designation, a MS65 PL. We sold a PCGS MS64+ PL CAC in our July 2017 Regency Auction for $8,225. In MS64 PL, the CU value is listed at $3,450.
