1876-CC Liberty Half Eagle. VG-8 (PCGS). Here is a classic low-mintage date (6,887 pieces) from Carson City, and for America's centennial year. Attractive deep orange-gold with a few russet flecks intermixed and with ample yet smooth wear. This half eagle obviously spent considerable time in circulation, as it was intended to do, and would certainly have many great stories to tell about its adventures in this exciting and wild period from our history.
