Lot Description

1882 Seated Liberty Half Dollar. MS-65 (PCGS). Toned in a handsome blend of green, gold and rose iridescence over the obverse and reverse, with a bold strike and glittering luster in the fields. A scant mintage of 4,400 pieces leaves few for collectors to fight over, especially when found in gem condition with such seductive toning. Reflective in the fields as the die polish never had a chance to wear away. Outstanding eye appeal.
