Lot Description

Noyes Die State C/B. Hard, tight surfaces are satiny in texture and impressively smooth for the assigned grade. Some planchet flaking around star 2 on the obverse requires magnification to discern, and it does not interfere with the strike in that area, which is actually razor sharp to full throughout both sides. Handsome color, as well, with blended olive and rose highlights to dominant autumn-orange brown. The reverse is rotated 45 degrees clockwise from coin alignment.
