Awesome surface quality and a resplendent SUPERB Proof! Amazingly well preserved watery mirrored fields shine through rich blue, gold, green, and accents of amber. The surfaces are smooth, free of any hairlines or other flaws. Only 930 proofs were struck. PCGS 8, NGC 12, CAC 15. There has not been one sold since July 2013, that coin sold for $3,408. Only 4 coins have been graded finer in the non-cameo designations, the last 67+ sold for $6,900 in July 2013, and the last 68 sold in 2005 for $10,925.
