- Lot Description
- Medallic alignment. Struck from the regular issue dies of the 1863 Indian cent. Boldly struck including at the tips of the feathers in Liberty's headdress. Pleasing tan surfaces with much faded mint red surviving despite the BN color designation on the PCGS insert. Close examination reveals a tiny spot at the rim above the letters RI in AMERICA - useful provenance marker.
