Lot 352 1853 N-9 R2- Repunched Date NGC graded AU58.Glossy light chocolate brown with medium chocolate toning on the highpoints. Smooth and attractive with only a few trivial contact marks, just lightly worn. MDS, die state b. The die lines at the inner and main curls are gone but the repunching on the 5 remains clear. Our grade is VF35+. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the NGC label. NGC population 3; 12 finer.
