Lot Description

1787 Connecticut Copper. Miller 28-m, W-3130. Rarity-6. Draped Bust Left. Good-6 (PCGS). 118.0 grains. Uniform dark steel brown on both sides. A couple of tiny voids and nicks above the effigy on the obverse, while the reverse is gently streaked with narrow striated planchet fissures. A bit weak at the lower left obverse, but with better definition on the reverse throughout. Provenance: From the Twin Leaf Collection of Connecticut & Massachusetts Coppers.
