1811 Capped Bust Left Half Eagle. BD-1. Rarity-3+. Tall 5. AU-50 (NGC). CAC. OH. Lustrous reddish-gold with lively mint bloom in the protected design areas. The pleasing surfaces are only lightly marked, with none attracting particular notice. One of the most popular of all issues in the design type, 1807-1812 -- only the 1810 has a larger mintage. A lovely coin for the assigned grade. PCGS# 8110.
