This VERY CHOICE 14-D is a very pleasing example of this KEY date issue. Satiny frosty lustrous brown surfaces have a soft overtone of the palest sky blue over milk chocolate patination. Nicely struck and free of any distractions, this is an excellent looking coin for the grade. PCGS 104, NGC 58, CAC 21. The most recent example sold for $3,360 two years ago; today, the PCGS Price Guide and CAC CPG values are both listed at $4,350.
