Obv:Similar to the design that the Mint adopted for regular issue Liberty Head nickel production in 1883, although the stars around the border are arranged in a somewhat different manner. Rev:The No CENTS design that the Mint adopted for regular issue Liberty Head nickel production in 1883. This is a sharply struck, boldly cameo specimen that contrasts frosty motifs with reflective fields. Both sides are untoned apart from the lightest pinkish-silver iridescence. A popular precursor to the regular issue Liberty Head nickel of 1883 to 1912, Judd-1690 enjoys strong demand among both series specialists and pattern enthusiasts.
