1795 Flowing Hair Silver Dollar. BB-20, B-2. Rarity-3. Two Leaves. VF-30. (PCGS) A richly original example evenly toned in deep steel gray patina. Ample boldness of detail remains from a nicely centered and well executed strike, and the surfaces are pleasingly smooth in a mid grade early dollar of the challenging Flowing Hair design type. While not a major rarity among die marriages of this issue, BB-20 is rarer than BB-21 and BB-27, and is also surprisingly challenging to locate in grade above Fine. PCGS# 6853. NGC ID: 24WZ.
