- 1866 Pattern Seated Liberty Dollar. Judd-541, Pollock-606. Rarity-6-. Proof-64 BN (PCGS). Regular die trials striking of the 1866 Seated Liberty Silver Dollar, struck in copper with a reeded edge.<br /> Mottled gray-brown overtones are largely confined to the reverse of this otherwise orange-copper specimen. A few swirls of deeper color are noted for the obverse, but we see no notable signs of handling. Glints of original reddish-orange color still peer from the protected areas around many of the devices.
