- 1850-C Liberty Head Half Eagle. Winter-4. Weak C. EF-45 (PCGS). This handsome khaki-olive example is well defined throughout with glints of original satin luster. Designated by PCGS a Weak C example (Winter-4), the mintmark is faint, although still partially discernible at most viewing angles. The mintmark is more or less faint on all known examples of this variety, in fact, since the C was lightly punched into the reverse die.
