1902-S Liberty Head Eagle. MS-66 (NGC). This is a simply beautiful example with smooth mint luster to vivid, visually appealing surfaces. Trailing only the 1901-S, the 1902-S is the most plentiful San Francisco Mint Liberty Head eagle in numismatic circles. Both circulated and Mint State examples abound, but precious few grade finer than MS-64. In premium Gem MS-66 the coin offered here is a significant condition rarity that ranks among the finest known. A lovely piece that will enhance any collection in which it is included.
