- Whisenhunt Collection. Both sides are generally doused beneath a fragile layer of butter-gold, but portions of the peripheral areas suddenly erupt with vivid cobalt, violet-gold and magenta, especially at the reverse bottom. The reverse seems to be fully gem in grade quality, but a loupe finds a slender hairline scratch sneaking across Liberty's lower portrait, explaining the grade.
