Lot Description

Cracked planchet (not mentioned on the slab). More vibrant than usual for the type, the surface gleams very brightly when viewed from either side. Eagle-eyed bidders may discover a tiny planchet break above the first "T" in STATES, and it goes right through the flan to the reverse. That alone should make this an intriguing acquisition since commemorative half-dollars almost never show up with this type of mint-made imperfection.
