Lot Description

Richly saturated in lovely royal gold, both sides exhibit a delightful level of vintage appeal due in large part to very nice preservation. It isn't easy to figure out exactly why the coin couldn't grade a little higher, although a single hairline curves upward and over the reverse left field, and a very few trivial abrasions scatter about. A nicely lustrous piece, fully choice and finely struck.
