Lot Description: THE SOMMELIER COLLECTION A lovely N-3. The die sinker who engraved this die inadvertently began the date upside down and backwards with the 51 punched over the errant 81. The coin itself is highly lustrous with a delicate dusting of pale steely blue over even brown. Sharply struck up, and boasting smooth surfaces, this is a great looking coin for the collector. PCGS 10, NGC 10, CAC 7. The last one sold in November 2018 for $2,640, and we sold the Koshkarian coin for $3,878 in our July 2017 Regency Auction. Both the PCGS and CAC CPG values are listed at $3,750. Rare finer. Cert. Number 25258261 PCGS # 1895.00
