A popular grade for this popular KEY date. A warm brown coloration with shimmering iridescent overtones are really brought out by a brilliant underlying luster. The surfaces are of CHOICE quality, we note just a planchet flaw, as made in the obverse field. The details are nicely rendered from a crisp strike and this date is truly RARE in all Mint State grades. PCGS 69, NGC 33. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $6,500 and the most recent example sold in November 2022 for $5,760.
