- 1888 Liberty Head Quarter Eagle. MS-64 (PCGS). This boldly lustrous Liberty quarter eagle is a treat to behold. Its surfaces are rich reddish-gold in tone with pale rose iridescence throughout. An exceptional coin for the grade and a piece that should be considered for a gold type set or quarter eagle collection. Only 16,001 examples were struck.
