A stunning Superb Gem with mottled rose-russet obverse toning and a crescent of similar color lining the left reverse border. Both the luster and the strike are full throughout, the surfaces exceptionally well preserved. This is one of the two finest 1926 dimes seen by PCGS. From a mintage of 32,160,000 pieces, the 1926 is one of the most plentiful dimes of its era. Even so, the 1926 is exceedingly rare with the quality and eye appeal offered here.
