1821 Matron Head Cent. N-2. Rarity-1. EF-45 (PCGS). Hard satin surfaces exhibit some good gloss on the obverse, where warm medium autumn brown patina dominates. The reverse is more deeply toned in steely olive-brown. A few dull marks on the obverse are commensurate with the assigned grade. Well centered on the planchet with overall bold detail remaining, this is a handsome Choice EF coin to represent a scarce key date issue among middle date large cents. PCGS# 1621. NGC ID: 2258.
