Lot 100 1848 N-19 R6- PCGS graded Proof-64 Brown, CAC Approved.Attractive steel brown with lighter reddish steel brown and tan faded down from mint color in protected areas. No notable spots, only microscopic hairlines and handling marks on the obverse including a few ticks in the field before the chin. The reverse is flawless. The fields are reflective but the mirrors are not deep (which is typical of the variety). A nice example of this rare proof-only issue. Our grade is Proof-62. PCGS population 3; 5 finer: 1 in 64+, 3 in 65, 1 in 66. PCGS #1973.Estimated Value $8,000 - UP
