- 1788 New Jersey Copper. Maris 67-v, W-5510. Rarity-1. Head Right. VF-20. 155.6 grains. Deep golden brown with lighter high points. Surfaces uniformly rough under low magnification though the in-hand appeal is more than acceptable for the grade. A patch of scarlet patination is noted at the top of the reverse shield. PCGS# 521. Provenance: From Early American History Auctions' sale of March 2002, lot 66. Lot tag included.
