What a glorious GEM example of this early three cent nickel in DCAM! WOW! The GEM quality mirrors are PQ and the eye appeal is great; they are sleek and contrast boldly against the richly frosted devices. Every detail is sharply rendered. There are no lines of consequence and a strong glass reveals nothing but a few tiny flecks. The eye appeal is amazing. Only 725 Proofs were struck. PCGS 6, NGC 9, CAC 8. The most recent example to sell in auction realized $3,120 in October 2020. This coin has a number of auction records going back to 2002. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $4,250.
