1914-D Lincoln Cent. MS-63 BN (NGC). Exceptionally vivid for a BN example of this issue, the reverse is dressed in blushes of salmon-pink, rose-red and golden-blue that enliven a base of autumn-orange color. The more reserved, yet equally appealing obverse exhibits lilac-blue highlights to dominant copper-rose patina. Both side are satiny in texture with a razor sharp strike. Lest out multiple offerings of Mint State examples in this sale cause some confusion, we stress that the 1914-D is a key date Lincoln cent issue that can be challenging to locate at any Uncirculated grade level.
