This is the finer of the two, count them, TWO 1942 Type 1 nickels in CAMEO. WOW, that is RARE! Considerable reflection and contrast is seen on both sides, standing out against the pleasing original iridescent hues. The eye appeal is superb. PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. There is a record of another PR66 CAM from a decade ago, which does not appear to be this GEM. Somewhat more recently the PCGS PR65 CAM CAC sold in November 2011 for $5,750.
