Lot Description

Nicholas Jackson Collection. Overton-104a. Peripheral die cracks, especially on the reverse, establish the late die-state for this otherwise rather plain die marriage. Particularly noticeable is a network of narrow die cracks extending left from Liberty's nose. The doily insert will drive forward many frenzied bids for the age of the holder, but truly, PCGS assigned the correct grade given quite a few delicate linear abrasions on the cheek and cabinet friction on the highpoints.
