1845 Liberty Seated Silver Dollar. AU-58 (PCGS). Secure Holder. Intense satin to semi-prooflike luster remains in abundance on both sides of this predominantly brilliant example. Sharply defined throughout, a lone toning spot in the date area is noted. These are scarce to rare in all grades, the 1845 boasting one of the lowest mintages among 1840s silver dollars with just 24,500 circulation strikes produced. PCGS# 6931. NGC ID: 24YF.
