Lot Description

Lot 12 1794 S-26 R2 PCGS graded VF35.Glossy dark olive brown and steel with some darker olive toning at the bottom of the cap where there are microscopic traces of carbon. The notable marks are several small planchet flakes or pits in the field before the end of the nose, a flake on the leg of the R in LIBERTY, and a small dig on the of the right foot of the first A in AMERICA. LDS, Breen state VII, with strong die cracks on the reverse and obvious swelling on the C in CENT. The reverse is rotated 25 degrees clockwise relative to the normal head-to-foot die orientation.
