SCARCE AND DESIRABLE. One would think with a mintage of over 22,000,000 coins that there would be more Gem examples with Full Bell Lines that have been graded, but alas, that is NOT the case! Surprisingly underrated and desirable. This blazing white, satin-like piece has a crisp strike and nice separation of the bell lines. A few scattered tick marks to the right of the date and on the bell are noted for the sake of accuracy. PCGS 9, NGC 14. Just 5 coins grade finer at NGC and PCGS combined and they are all MS-66+. Although we sold an NGC example in August 2020 for $15,275, more recent sales of PCGS examples have traded this year in July for $5,758 and January for $6,250. We mention this by way of comparison.
