Lovely medium gold coloration is illuminated by a satiny luster that brings life the bold devices. High end and clearly finer than a 62, and we would not have balked if this coin came in a MS63 holder (not saying it ever will). There are only 18 coins graded as MS62+ (out of more than 1078 certified as MS62). CAC has approved 33 examples in MS62. The last PCGS MS62+ CAC to sell realized nearly $2,300 in February 2015. The CU value is $3,100. We always think that owning PQ generic gold is always a good idea, and this is a coin that would be a great addition to any CAC-approved portfolio of gold.
