- 1858 Pattern Flying Eagle Cent. Judd-204, Pollock-248. Rarity-5. Proof-62 (PCGS). Copper-nickel. Plain edge. Even and lustrous golden tan with lightly reflective fields. Generous visual appeal, a few light flecks can be seen consistent with the grade. A muling of two never-adopted designs, one of the varieties included in the 12-coin pattern cent sets of 1858. Very attractive and certainly worthy of a place in a well-formed cabinet.<br />
