Lot Description

1874/3 Round 50 Cents. BG-1052. Rarity-4+. MS-62 (PCGS). OGH--Second Generation. 1843-O Seated Liberty Quarter. Small O. AU-58 (PCGS). Boldly mirrored fields throughout and attractive with a hint of teal over the devices. Always seen with a heavy die scratch from Liberty's chin to nearby star, partially polished out in the field. Ghosting as a result of the thin planchets, a common issue on these coins. The reverse die was rotated about 45 degrees counter clockwise when struck.
