1872 Two-Cent Piece. MS-64 RB (PCGS). Lovely, deep mint orange is highlighted with blushes of steel-blue and brown while satiny luster and impressive surface quality round out this attractive near-Gem. The 1872 is a scarce issue having a mintage of just 65,000 pieces (the lowest production figure for circulation strikes in the entire two-cent series) An opportunity for the collector of two cent pieces, or an advanced type collector.
