Lot 233 1829 N-8 R1 Large Letters. PCGS graded MS-62 Brown.Lustrous medium brown and light chocolate with golden tan faded down from mint color in the fields and protected areas. Looks choice mint state but there is a touch of friction on the highest points of the hair. No spots or stains, and the only mark is a small nick on the chin. A really nice cent. E-MDS with microscopic die flowlines in the fields but without any crumbling in the dentils at stars 9-10. Our grade is AU58. The attribution and Great Pacific Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 6 finer: 2 in 63, 2 in 64, 1 in 65, 1 in 66.
