Jody Harrison Collection. Judd-1617, from William Barber's famous "metric" series, shows a portrait of Liberty comparable to that found on the Morgan dollar except for a lack of foliage in the hair. If brilliant-is-best, then this may be a nearly sensational example, boasting much reflective yet also sheening and highly appealing steely aluminum luster. The obverse likely qualifies for cameo designation while the reverse offers noticeably less contrast. Astute observers will near-horizontal polish lines across the flan, almost fully eradicated by a fabulous strike.
