Lot 682 1823/2 N-1 R2 Overdate 3 over 2 NGC graded AU58.Glossy dark olive brown and steel. Smooth and attractive, just very lightly worn with minor contact marks scattered over the obverse. The only notable mark is a faint hairline from the cheek through the ear to the dentils over star 11. LDS with narrow rim cud breaks under 182 and from above star 1 to just under star 4. The overdate feature is sharp. A nice example of this overdate variety. Our grade is EF40. The attribution is noted on the NGC label. NGC population 5; 2 finer in 61.
