Lot Description

1867 Two-Cent Piece. FS-101 (FS-003). Doubled Die Obverse. VF-25 (PCGS). While the middle of the obverse scroll has been lost to circulation, the ends remain bold to allow ready appreciation of the bold doubling that characterizes this variety. An original, mostly crimson-copper example with a bit of old, inactive surface build up scattered about. Suitably bold for the grade, and free of distracting abrasions.
