1871 Silver Three-Cent Piece. MS-65 (PCGS). This late-date, Type Three trime is one of only 3,400 pieces struck in 1871, as the denomination was already overwhelmingly represented in circulation. The surfaces exhibit olive-gray patina and clash marks on each side. This one is eagerly awaiting inclusion in an advanced silver three-cent set. PCGS# 3692. NGC ID: 22ZM.
