Lot Description

1908-S Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle. AU-50 (PCGS). OGH. Attractively original khaki-orange surfaces retain overall bold striking detail and traces of satiny mint luster. The key date 1908-S double eagle was produced to the extent of just 22,000 pieces, and it is one of the few issues in the Saint-Gaudens series that is seen more often circulated than in Mint State. A handsome and desirable AU that is sure to have no difficulty finding its way into a gold date set. PCGS# 9149. NGC ID: 26FA.
