1884-CC Liberty Head Half Eagle. VF-35 (PCGS). Vividly toned in deep orange-gold, this inviting example reveals ample evidence of a prooflike finish in the fields as the surfaces dip into a light. Uncommonly sharp in detail at the Choice VF level, as well, wispy hairlines and a touch of glossiness to the texture suggest that PCGS net graded this otherwise Extremely Fine coin.
