An exceptionally well preserved and Superb quality Gem example of the first emission of Mercury dimes from the San Francisco Mint. An incredibly rare item at this lofty state of preservation, the combined NGC and PCGS Populations at the MS-67+ FB level is a mere four coins with none graded higher. Icy smooth surfaces and a semi-reflective mint flash amplify the light dappled golden iridescent toning that can be seen as the surfaces are viewed at various angles in a light. Essentially full strikes and flawless surfaces are a delight to behold. <p>
